Well not by me. It has an R55 generator which I understand will work with paraffin.

Most R-55 generators have "V" gas tips. A collector from Canada named Matthew Reid compiled a rather extensive list of Coleman generators. All their characteristics such as which model they fit, gas tip designation, overall length, gas tip orifice dimension. It's quite extensive. Is he a member of this forum? This "list" is quite handy when it comes to doing a conversion from gasoline to kerosene(paraffin)on Coleman products.

From the few posts he made, he sounds quite knowledgeable when it comes to Coleman.

That's him. I sent him a PM last night so see if it is OK for me to post this list. I have it in a documents folder. It may have to be "massaged" to be able to post it on this forum. Once I get the OK I can forward it to the appropriate person for "conversion" if necessary.

Can you check the tip on the generator on your Coleman 128C to see whether it has a “Q” or “V” tip, please?
