Tilley Paint colour.

Hi all,
Planning on painting a few lamps but I would like to know is there a pacific paint colour and type I should use (that preferably doesn't cost an arm and a leg ). I'm planning on painting two to three lamps so might need two cans.

Gold is Plastikote "Brass" and the cream on radiators and table lamps is "Arran Beige" which I think is a Rover colour. ::Neil::

Not that I suggest it is a turkey - not at all. Just that paper pom-poms will stop burning etc.

 

Have they renamed 'Arran Beige' as 'Rattan Beige'?
