Hello everyone! Found me this one a few weeks back, it is a Petromax 821 Baby manufactured back in 1938. Found in Sweden, this one was probably imported back in the day. Had to fettle it some to get it to run as the rod for the jet needle fell down all the way not engaging the eccentric pin, changed out the gland inner part for an Optimus one (just slightly longer) and it solved the problem. Another issue with this one was the fact that the mixing tube was beyond repair, as it had cracked around the threads, someone tried to fix this with exhaust paste, but it did no good. So for the running photos I use a Radius 102 inner hood with all its related parts. (The Radius 102 is a very close copy). This time I put in both photos (as found) and when cleaned. The scratched numbers in the bottom of the fount are 7 8 even though from some angles the 8 might look like a 3, I believe this one was made in July 1938. Enjoy / Fred.
