I think these instructions are for the Optimus 1200 and not the 930?

Well spotted. I got it with a 930 but looking at the picture on the cover it is not the same.
Handle attaches to the frame and not clipped in like 930.
There are 4 supports to top frame. 930 has 3.

Sorry for wrong title. Maybe mods can file it correctly

I'm grateful to you for posting it nevertheless. I have a brass 1200 and it is an excellent little lantern.

Ha! I know just where there is a little brass 1200.
On your recommendation it just might be a good "investment"

Have not got anything kit yet. Waiting on all the spare seals, mantles etc. Will be in touch soon to talk clearances and other issues.
Got to go offshore for work on Friday. Not back home until April.

Actually I'd say that it's rather for a 1350, or similar type of Optimus. Perhaps 550?
When it comes to the illustration, that is. Either way, the instructions are more or less generic and also cover lanterns with, and without, a quick lighter.

Yes , spot on Christer. It is the generic instructions that came with the 350, 550, 1350, 1550 family of lamps.

    Thanks Nils!
I will amend the title for this topic in the instructions section accordingly.

On second glance I was mistaken; from the presence of a foot valve and the shape of the control cock body it could not be a 1200. All I noticed at first was the swivel type preheat torch and those are of course not unique to the 1200.
