Hello, I received a Bialaddin 315 last weekend and was able to get to it today. The Bialaddin is in pretty good shape with it’s original globe that is not chipped or cracked. The fuel tank/fount has some missing paint. The hood or chimney is in excellent shape. I had to replace all of the seals and washers including the NRV PIP. All of the sealed and washers were as hard as rocks. It never ceases to amaze me that people don’t think they need to do maintenance on these lanterns. This lantern hasn’t been up and running in many years so here are some pictures. Enjoy. Cheers, Norman
Good job! I serviced last week the same model, but my lamp is in not so good shape... cracked glas bad email brush repaint container... After service its running well and bright, but it isn't a top model Regards, Frank
Frank and Norman, Something about these Bialaddin lanterns you can't get away from: they work great and look great. I like the the 310, too. There's something about them that seems to stand out, but then again, all those Vapalux and Bialaddins look great!!
