    Nice Lamp. I am quite partial to the 200 and 1200 Optimus lanterns. I am assuming that this lamp must predate 1200. Since there would be no point in fitting a valve to a 200 with the 1200 in production. I would like to know what sort of valve this lamp uses. Is it a rod operatad foot valve simaller to a Petromax? If you have the frame off this lantern for any reason please take some pics and post them. I would love to see the lower vaporizer unite. I notice that the generator on this lamp looks like the one on my 1200B. Thanks for the post. Ill be posting my 1200B soon.
