Really can't say. Which country did you find that lamp in? Please show some more details before a neutral background. Remove the globe and take some image of the inside. Erik
It's a hollow wire lamp, and it looks very much like what they call N:o 24 in a Swedish catalogue. The light itself is called "Helios". I don't know if it actually is Swedish. The illustration showing the tank for the lamp says "Standard Light C:o". Standard light in Chicago, that is, so probably that's the actual manufacturer also of the lamp, and this company "Helios-light" may just be the Swedish distributor/importer. The lamp: The tank meant for it:
And you're still sitting around writing on the forum? I would be all over those two beauties in a New York minute if I were you! Grab 'em both, Doug! If you do not want them for yourself, I'm sure a few members here will be happy to trade you for them...
@JEFF JOHNSON I have one of these lamps that I believe was marketed by Coleman as a 1A, simply because it came with a green porcelain canopy. I have pondered these lamps for quite some time. They certainly aren't Coleman technology yet Coleman sold them as their 1A Model. I *think* they may have been manufactured by Incandescent Light & Supply, I do have it in the back of my head that I had another candidate as to whom manufactured these lamps but I can't recall whom without looking at notes (that I'm too lazy to do) I don't believe Coleman were much of a manufacturer - more an assembler when they first sold these lamps circa 1905/06. Sure they manufactured a few bits and pieces but mostly assembled lamps.
I'm sure I have seen the "1A" in another catalogue too but I can't remember where. AGM just may be Any way, they are a great using lamp. @Doug L how are you off for tanks and hollow wire and fittings ??
@Matty Incandescent Light & Supply has this lamp as their nr. 21 hw lamp. If they were the original manufacturer of this lamp, I don´t know for sure. /Conny
