I came into a Brenner hanging kerosene hurricane 20" trawler lamp from the late 1950's. In great condition. I do not know much about this lamp so not sure if it common here in Canada.
Nice pieces. Give a lot of light. But thirsty. Have 2of those you can still buy those from maritime shops. I hate that they coated the brass with clear lacquer. Makes impossible to polish unless you remove the paint.
Well I am not usre about the date but Den Haan Rotterdam makes these lamps until today. So pretty well possible it is younger then late 50ties.
They are well made but be aware that these 20linie Ideal burners are heavy drinkers. Also the glass chimeny is shorter the normal.
