Tilley X246s up in the snow

Early this week my partner and I headed up into the Mt Field to stay in a hut for a few winter days.

The snow was heavy, but the hut was well lit with my camping Tilleys (X246s, 1950-55):












I really like this photo of Stu's (@loco7lamp) pre-heater in action.

Relax we did. We also taught ourselves to play the card game Casino (Cassino).
