    Hello,

I am a beginner so I am not sure if the question is properly to ask here or not.
Recently I bought an old Primus 981 but I find the cap nut is not the original part when I received it. So I search the part lists and its part number is 6210 (Lykthuvs mutter). It seems a common part that is used in several models like 1321 981 990 1020..etc.
Does anyone know where to buy it? Or the only way to get it is to buy another lamp to disassemble it for use as spare parts?

    Thanks,
    Charlie

Actually it is not uncommon to find the early 981 lanterns without the special top nut. When they do turn up, the screw is normally the other way up so it is only the screw head you see above the green enamel top hat. I have seen an unused 981 from 1938 with this configuration, so it must have come from the factory that way.
