G'day All, I am in the final stages of restoring a Bialaddin T10 and have found a somewhat suitable shade that I would like to use on it. I am not sure how the original shade was attached and would like to know if anyone has a photo/drawing/description or even a recollection of how it was held in place ... any help would be much appreciated. @sjc This is the best I can come up with. It looks like the shade fitter sat over the top of the burner dome. 1954 Bialaddin table model T10 Cheers Tony
I posted a photo once, will have to look for it. The shade has a wire ring in the top, I think it’s 4 inches or something, that’s sits on the outside of the enamel gallery but behind the air buttons.
It was the same shade used by Tilley or a very close copy and the inner ring sits on the air buttons. Rare things because they tend to die of old age and there are not many survivors. ::Neil::
