Tilley AL21 but what age?

Well, new as I am to the Tilley range, trying to find an timeperiod for my new AL21, it is 3 legged. But what else tells its age?

 

I reckon that it's a post 1940 type 2 and the link below shows relevant information.

And she works well, first ligth. Just wush I had a better prelighter. Used a tweezer with some glasfiber.

 

Congratulations, that's a good sign. It should clean up nicely
