Hello Christer, that is a very smart lamp and the fluted globe adds a touch of class! Jeff.

JUST PLAIN BEAUTIFUL!  This lamp has class by the bucketful. I marvel at the simple elegance that European kerosene table lamps have.

Thanks for your comments everyone. I do really like the strict elegance of these round globed Primuses. Easy to get in working condition too.

Karli, more or less as found! The lamp was in unusual good condition.
I have only taken the pieces apart for inspection and cleaned them.

It is always good to see after the cleaning
    procedure,

that the lanterns look like new after 80 years

    Some more gratulations to you

    Thanks Andreas!

Out of curiousity, where in Sachsen do you live?
I must say that Dresden is one of the most beautiful cities I visited despite the fact it hadn't been fully restored when I was there the last time.

That surely is 1 of the best looking table lamps I have seen so far. It may be better looking than it did originally.

(but you forgot a picture of it working [-( )

Thanks Lighthouse, it works very well.

This is probably one of the rare occasions when I will allow the lamp to be used with this glass. It's far too rare to jeopardize.
