Another Coleman 238B just discovered in South Africa

A fellow SA collector, Quintus, purchased it for about GBP17.00
It is dated 12/51.

 

Great find!

Another one saved from the drill and electric wire brigade

It needs a globe, bail, preheat torch tube and preheat torch valve stem & knob and of course a thorough clean and fettle. I'm calling dibs on the Primus spirit cup when it becomes superfluous

But a wonderful find nevertheless. Well done, Quintus!
