These burner units are scarce, so I thought that photos of an unused one would be useful for reference. The 500cp., burner is also shown beside a standard 300cp., burner. LJJ.
That's spooky. I was given about 5 off theses burners as the bloke said they were Tilley, I was doubtful as the where odd looking and very big, I took them anyway so I'm sorted on that front.
Lucky finds! Did you get any of the 301 vapourisers too? Tilley 301 vaporisers, three different styles..
Only one vapouriser, I'm afraid. No pics yet as I got them ages ago so will have to dive into the depths of one of my barns to find them.
The mantles are available from Base-Camp : Item 312 500cp mantle for IL34,OL51/53/55. Or you can take a 500cp mantle that is "tied" at the bottom e.g. Anchor, Butterfly, unravel the string, open-up the bottom and fold it over a little to form a hem then thread the string through the weave. You need nimble fingers but it worked well enough for me before Base-Camp sold the real thing. Henry.
