    I bought a lovely old Swan coffee percolator that looks as if it could be NOS but it came without an electric cable and plug... I'm guessing that someone here might possibly have one of these lying around that you wouldn't mind selling/exchanging.

    This is what the percolator looks like. Pretty,isn't it!

    In the UK, that type of appliance plug hasn't been used for decades!

    That's the only photo I could find of the plug. Apparently the woman who gave the percolator to the charity shop forgot to bring the cable with her and hesn't returned... which is extremely annoying!

    It is, isn't it! It's never been used and has no signs of discolouration on the internal coffee container or surface wear under the base. I was given it for free because the lead is missing!

    @ColinG

    Have a look at this.
    You might be able to get the kettle with plug cheaply.

    Colin, recognizing your desire to have a correct cord in color and configuration and that this meets neither and that you might be able to buy kettle and cord for half what I propose, that connector is very similar to the one used on some vintage sewing machines. As such, it is rather readily available in various places (even though yaya shows currently out of stock).

    For future reference, then: Yaya-online > Power Cable for Pfaff 332 is an item one might try to find in a pinch.
