Picked this up in my travels this morning together with some other bits and pieces. I've done a bit of reading through the reference gallery but not really sure how to work out an approximate date for this lantern. Also before I go cleaning it down, any ideas on what type of metal am I looking at - is this chrome over brass?

    Thanks @JEFF JOHNSON

I just ran a magnet over it and it looks like it is all brass aside from the bail. The brochure shows that these are chrome plated. I had a closer look at the underside of the fount and can see it is stamped in the centre with the numbers "677". Good light is needed to make this out. I wonder if that might mean it was manufactured in June 1977?

These are lovely little lanterns on par with the Petromax and of brass construction.
