    @A Hendrikx

    You have done a splendid restoration and she runs beautifully.

    I can give you bail measurements if required. Some of these lanterns were supplied with both a short and a long version.

    Regards Jeremy

    I'm afraid I can't answer which bail your model would have originally been supplied with but I will sort you out some measurements tomorrow after finishing work.

    Regard, Jeremy

    The long handle is a monumental PITA, IMHO - too long so it doesn't sit down the side of the lantern but rests on whatever the lantern's sitting on, completely getting in the way, catching on things, knocking things over. A bit like that daft hook on Primus lantern handles - handy for hanging from trees, nails and what have you, but otherwise redundant and maddening. I don't suppose that'll be a popular opinion with our Scandinavian members but 'Happy New Year' to them... ;) :lol:

    Those annoying hooks also appear on Australian Aladdin 1As.
