Hi all I wonder about this : I just found a Primus 992 lamp and I realise the fount is stamped "991". Is it possible the fount of the 991 and 992 to be interchangeable or it is an employee error ?
It is not known. Perhaps a number of a work- or assembly station along the line of manufacturing. Or a quality station. Or a number designed to one of a bunch of quality inspectors. Take a guess of your own Or just ignore the number.
Thanks Christer. Just curious to know as I've just got myself a second Primus(a 991) with X28 stamped at the bottom of the fount. At least this one appears to be more original compared to my earlier 'ultra-hybrided' 1050 (Thread: Some doubts about this Primus).
Thanks Nils, Nice to know that. Its still unfettled, not cleaned and as found. Haven't inspect the internals yet. Hope its restorable.
