    These are great lanterns! In fact, I think these are my favorite Tilley!:D/ I have three of these and a PL-55/56 type.:thumbup:I don't have a wartime PL-53 (steel) model.:cry:
    Great save!!!
    My wife likes this one too, it's the only one she will let me light in the house; says she can't smell it when it's burning!:mrgreen:

    @Paraffinhead

    Lovely to see her up and running again, especially at such a good price too!

    If you tell me the reflector was included in the price I'll probably swoon.

    Regards Jeremy

    Well saved. Light often and enjoy.
    Out of interest, how many lamps do you have now?

    er.. Tilley PL53, Pork Pie mk1, X246a, 2 x Guardsman, R1 heater, Bialaddin 315, 2 x Bialaddin 320, 2 x Anchor 909, Primus 1020 (I think). I have bought a couple of these lamps off Ebay but generally find the starting prices to be too optimistic (or greedy).

    Plus I have a mixed bag of blow torches and a Primus No.5 stove.

    I need more paraffin...!

    Good selection. I agree, some people are asking far too much.
