checking the french lamps gallery, I see that you don't have this Unic 10 Unfortunately, I don't know the production year. there is very few documents on this brand. I had some trouble for repair, because of leaks all around the fount (manometer, filling cap and etc...)
Michel, This is really a fantastic lamp, you’ve done a great restoration job . The paperwork known from this company is from the 50s but I believe your lamp could have been made long before that period, who knows! /Conny
I suspect some of the paper for Unic is earlier than the 1950s. The G Haupois leaflet is dated 1952 with prices for 1963. The address for the company is 5 Rue Du Moulin Joly and that is the same address as in the paper from E Brodier. The Haupois paper lists a limited range of product with only models 2, 3, 9 and 7 available in 1952 and 7 is crossed out for 1963. As Brodier lists a much greater range of product I am sure that is earlier and could even be from the 1930s although all we can say for sure is it dates from before 1952. Makes little difference though and this is a very nice lamp. ::Neil::
