Here are my latest Coleman lanterns. The large one is a 228B. I have a user globe on it but have the original tucked away. The green hat next to the 228B is my newest 242C fettle. The redhat is the amazing running 249 kero and the green hatwith clear globe is a 247 kero that was brought back from the dead. Most of the pics including the action shot is of the 247 burning 75% kero 25% coleman fuel

    Hope you enjoy the pics

Looking good. Is that red hat original to the 249? I have not seen that before. ::Neil::

No the red is not original. I had sent a few vents into IPE for re-porcelain and always wanted to try red. The original green hat is sitting on the workbench just out of site along with the original green letter globe.
