Tilley 246a

    Hi guys. Does anyone know what globe and mantles I need to order for a 246a lantern.

    You will need to find a 171 glass globe.

    The mantle with be an 164 X. This is a double tie and there are several different versions and they all work.

    You can find both the globe and mantle in the UK and ebay may be your best option.

    @David Lawlor go to google and if you type “Tilley Lantern Parts” select the bay of evils option you will find English suppliers that can provide most of the stuff you’ll need. Please also see the Fettle Box associated with this site, they’re very good.
