    Hi,
Found this one as garbage. Browsed your catalogue but couldn’t find a match. No markings, other then “close” on the nob. Don’t no if the OD green is original as for the white KERO text on it.

Anybody an idea about this one?

Looks like one of those Dutch Army Veritas P350s to me...

This looks like a US military lantern, possibly made by Coleman (but there are others) Obviously, it is missing the globe and also the generator.

    Best regards,

    Wim

David @David Shouksmith was a minute faster than me! David, have a look at the pump and filler cap, looks more like Coleman to me? (but I've been wrong before... )

    Best regards,

    Wim

Thanks Wim and David for your knowledge and super fast reply.
That link to the P350 is spot on.
Love the fact that it is a Milspec.
Being Dutch myself I understand our army wouldn’t be the brightest in the forest with one lantern model needing two different kinds of fuel, back then :-)
This one will be a looker and not a burner for me.

I can say for sure this is not Coleman. It like a European lantern based on the style. I my opinion most European lanterns look better than Coleman lanterns.
Boy, talk about "tearing someone a new one", I guess I left myself wide open on this one.
But, opinions make the world go round!:-s:D/

If you're familiar with the Coleman 220 type then you have a good idea what a Coleman military lantern looks like. David may be right, it looks like a Veritas in a lot of ways. No expert on the Veritas, I admit.

It's a Dutch Veritas 350 running on gasoline. Which is spelled like kerosene.
The pump is a Coleman idea indeed. Pos. shut off valve and the square pump shaft.
