I never see any of these type of lanterns come up for sale, where would be the best place to be looking??
@ColinG The Petromax 868A is very thirsty. In the old catalog stands 5,25 pints for 18 hours. But I think she needs mutch more. I have not measured it yet. Regards Reinhard

They where made for export so Asia would be a good place esspecially India. We should not forget that gas light (Graetzin) was already available in huge quantities.
Yes. You might likely find a lot more Petromaxes as well as the Aida in all over Asia than in Europe.
They seem to to come up from India on the bay of evil fairly often at silly prices and the condition as in a vintage Holdens ((Australian built cars from 48 till recently) some say they rust away so they are they are just holden-together) The lamps I have looked at are the same
