Hello all, I just got old German STANDARD 5012 lantern. Restored it completely and now it's shiny and works!! However, light (power) adjustmend does not work (runs only at full power or shuts off) . After deeper investigation found out that one part is missing. Kind of the valve closing the injector (sorry if wrong names used, I'm novice to this wold). See attached drawing where it is marked in red. It's from 6012 model, but mine construction is same. Does anyone knows if it is possible to buy this missing part somewhere. Or maybe someone has any more details about is (dimentions/materials) so I could machine it out myself or order at workshop. YHANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE FOR LOOKING AND ANY HELP!!!
Thanks, Matti. I get that. There is a tiny tip that is used for cleaning purpose. However, lower part of that part I believe is used to close/adjust flow through injector and by that adjust the burning power. Thanks for reply!
Hello Arvydas, Welcome to this forum. The cleaning needle is just that: cleaning needle. These lanterns do not have an adjustable light swith/knob. It is full power all the way. Amount of light is regulated by the size of the jet. Most common are : 500, 350, 250 and 150 cp.
