From the construction of the Nitehawk, looks like it could burn anything. And very brightly.
    I'll guess...Is it Amish?

NH's are produced in batches of 10 or 12 lanterns and prospective buyers sign up to purchase one preceding actual production by calling or emailing LL's. LL's said the production cost of the lantern have grown and were trying to gauge interest with a decision to produce more lanterns made this Spring. When I talked to LL they said they enjoyed making the NH but worried that the price hike would turn off buyers . I have yet to understand if they are going ahead with production. Foreign buyers have been able to buy NH's from Daniel Pitman, Pitman Marine on ebay. Daniel lives in Pennsylvania where LL's is located.

For serious interest in the lantern perhaps foreign buyers would benefit from a group buy directly from LL's.
