Hi. I'm almost finished refurbishing a 310 but for the life of me could not work out how the NRV came apart. Now as it happen there doesn't seem to be any leaks and the spring inside seems to work fine but I would like to know how the thing comes apart just in case I need to do it in the future. Any thoughts?

...and just a general word of warning. Don't be tempted to use a screwdriver in the slot at the bottom. If it's at all tight, all you'll do is break off one of the brass sides of the slot. Don't ask me how I know...

Use a drill chuck to hold the cylindrical bottom section. I’ve made the screwdriver mistake, too.
