    Morning all,

    New member here who recently obtained the above for restoration. As with many it has been opened up over its lifetime. Need the following parts. Does anyone know where to obtain?
    • Pricker (L215);
    • Generator Filter - Kerosine (L214A);
    • Fuel Control Valve Washers and/or whole washer kit; and
    • Plunger Leather (A8).
    Any help would be fantastic.

    @Konrad , you have a very cool lantern there, there are a few varieties of type 3.
    The Pricker, is the Pricker wire broken off?
    Generator filter, brass mesh fine. You can make your own. Fine brass mesh you can get from eBay.
    The fuel control washers you may get from T W Sands in Melbourne. You may even get a new generator from Burnie.Even the pump cup. Parts are hard to come by, if you have the skills set you can make the parts you are after. You can follow some of my posts about Handi Kero Pet lanterns and others you may find out how to make your own, practice fettling skills. If you don’t have any luck I can send some parts, the Pricker I make my own.

    Thanks, Darryl, for your prompt reply. You are correct, the pricker wire is broken off. Have contacted TW Sands who are going to come back to me when they are in the shop 2moro. Pictures of my lantern and original box are attached. Strangely this lantern does not have a product plate affixed to the perforated collar. Will keep you posted and might get you to help or make me a pricker. Certainly, the wire is skinny! Cheers again.

    Hi there, your kero pet is very very cool , the light green hood is original, they do come in the most common grey, but green, red, blue and black, your lamp is an early type 3.
    The air tubes with the smaller keeper rings.
    You may want to clean it up a bit, not everything needs to be super shiny. Your lantern has natural beauty. Wash with soapy water buff dry. Clean the globe. It will look very nice in the end. 300cp mantle. You will have the sun in a jar.
