I think I got a deal

Picked up this 1986 Coleman military lantern today for $35.00 USD.Not perfect but better than others I have seen for more money.

 

It should clean up well enough!

Looks good, does it say Coleman on the bottom?

 

A 1986 Milspec should be by State Machine Products not Coleman. The base stamp would be S.M.P. With the U.S and date. ::Neil::

I'm really impressed by how thick the glass is on this four piece globe!

 

Finding this sticker was a little surprising. Figured it would have been made in the States.

 

Overall this is built like a tank. I like that the cap and funnel are literally chained to it.

 

Action after some light cleaning.
