    Hi Everyone

So, there I am in the local Antique Centre, and I find a rather forlorn lamp hiding behind a pile of other junk. Closer inspection revealed a power cord disappearing into the fount, and a household bulb holder loosely stuck to the top of the control cock with sellotape! Quality conversion this one!

As I was pondering the dilemma, do I? Don't I? I've already got a 300X and a 305, the Owner wandered by and said I could have it for £12 because a customer had broken the glass the previous week.

Dilemma solved, another one rescued, albeit one that would never run on Paraffin again!

We were in Norfolk a couple of weeks later for a short break, and I found a lovely Hardware Store in Sheringham, where they were able to supply me with everything I needed to revisit the conversion - Brass Bulb Holder properly soldered on, with an LED Bulb.

This, I have to say, is the only one of my lamps that is allowed in the house, I think it produces a wonderful ambience, especially with its hat on, and I'm really quite proud of it. My Wife loves it too!

Fear not though, I'll not be making a habit of it though! Bialaddin 315 Electric #3.jpg Bialaddin 315 Electric #2.jpeg Bialaddin 315 Electric #1.jpeg
