    Mystery lantern.

I am trying to find out the manufacturer of this brass lantern?

No markings anywhere but the control wheel looks like the one on the Hipolito lantern in this link: https://classicpressurelamps.com/attachments/ff4b00c6-c457-47bb-a993-b6825f7bad4b-jpeg.114284/

Size is equal to the Optimus 200.

Pump handle and fuelcap with preassure release screw is of a older type. The NRV is of the Petromax Pump Valve type.

Found this lantern on Tradera online auction site. Looks like it have had a roughe life, it seems to have had a lot of use. The glass cylinder is german marked ”Schott West Germany” and was totally sooted black. Cleaned up nicely.

The Preston loop needs a good cleaning and some rectifying. Looks bent. The cleaning needle is marked with three lines.

Dont know if the carburetor is detachable?

Has probably fallen or been tossed away. The rest of the lantern is dirty and seems somewhat corroded in the brass.

The inside of the fount is dirty from old smelly fuel.

And there is a big dent on it too.

Here’s some pictures of it and its parts.

    Regards Matti

Can not see any signs of a lead washer or any solder. I wont try to use force either.
