I got this pair of Petrolamp 200s from Italy.
I don't know if Petrolamp was a brand name.
The parts are of high quality. The tank of the 200 cp lamp has a capacity of one liter

Hello @Reinhard! Nice Lantern that you have there.
Petrolamp is listed in Neils PLC as follows:
"250cp as Petromax 821. Alcohol pre heat only. All nickel plate. Label riveted to hood with “PETROFLAM”.
Valve body casting embossed with “Petrolamp Made in Italy”. Logo of P in a double circle on filler cap. This is very probably a brand name of O.L.M.A.S. Officine Lav. Mecc. Apparecchiature Stagne a Milano. Italy."
    and
"I am told by an Italian collector that OLMAS were the manufacturing company that made Tirrenia and Docovus lanterns and probably Petroflam and Petrolamp as well."

I'm familiar with Neil's PLC entry, and I'm familiar with the dialogue with the Italian collector. Well, I've worked on some of the brands mentioned, and therefore I don't believe they were all manufactured by OLMAS .Petrolamp and Petroflam yes, but Docovus and Tirrenia no.The structural differences are too great. However, I can imagine that the less successful ones were taken over by the more powerful ones , and the brand diversity was lost .
