Hello All Still , I don’t good luck with one of lamps. When I turn the fuel valve, no fuel coming out from the nozzle. I have one question. How do you attach copper gauze to vaporizer? Please answer thanks Nimal
Well as for the fuel: You may dismantle the fuel lines to check where the problem is. For instance pump up, release the nuts below the valve and check if fuel pick up and valve are free. Then fasten the nut and remove jet, pump up again and check if fuel is getting out. Only the coil can give cleaning problems all other parts have easy acces. In my original steel jet was a small roll of gauze pressed in the bottom of the jet. So where normally the pricker rod and needle sit. With clean kerosene and a well maintained lamp you may skip it.
Please check in the extensive library of this forum. https://classicpressurelamps.com/attachments/petromax-no92_26-jpg.107096/ Here you can see part Nr 53, this is also vaporizer gauze - its a simple piece of brass gauze, rolled up and inserted in the vaporizer.
