Hope to have both of these next week or the week after. A PL 53 and what looks to be a heater with the lantern head.

Nice acquisitions! The best of it is that you can find a heater burner assembly and then you can have dual use of the R1. The lamp conversion was available from Tilley. CH1 I think.

PL 53 arrived today safely and it didn't take much to get it going. Got the pump working, changed some rubber seals, cleaned the vaporizer as well as the control cock in my ultrasonic cleaner and basically that was about it ! Running nicely ! I also fired up one of my Colemans. Down the tracks I'd like to get a better glass for it I can just borrow the one off of my WL25 for the moment and probably get a better vaporizer this one over burns a little bit and the top of the burner glows cherry red so I think she's getting a little too much fuel but it's okay for now.

Thanks mate ! Tonight I'm going to get the original pump back together last night before I went to bed I went to the workshop and I checked the original pump how it was cleaning up in my ultrasonic cleaner and it cleaned up very nicely all of the old kerosene tar was gone and I was able to get the pump cup remnants out of the pump tube with a brass bore brush. Tonight I will install a new pump cup new pip and a new pump to tank seal. I also want to swap the glass off of my WL25 as well as the vaporizer to see if it still over burns or not and the glass that I got with the PL 53 is cracked. If I can get all of those issues resolved by the end of this week I will bring it to the lantern gathering that I'm going to in a couple of weeks

After work I was able to get the pump back together with a new cup a new pump to tank washer and a new pip and pump works perfectly now I also swapped the vaporizer off of my WL25 and she is now running nicely ! Going to light it up again after dinner and let it go until after my shower.
