Are they still in business ? I placed an order with them 8 days ago, not received an email confirmation, and didn't get the pre-heaters I ordered. Have called them upteen times but straight to voicemail and leaving a message on Thursday, Friday and today has not resulted in them calling me back as promised on the voice mail. It's my first order with them, so no idea what they are normally like. Thought I'd ask you guys before I complain to my credit card company and get my 22 quid back. That would be a shame as I think chargebacks cost the merchant 15 quid ! Really unimpressed ; basecamp is how to run good customer service ; wish I'd paid a few more quid and bought from them :-(

Thanks PB, I'll do that. Yes Mike is great, and his wife as well ! Spoke to them last week as it happens, got a nozzle for my (new !) Petromax from them to replace the original which was not fitted straight and crumbled on touch. Love the look of the HK500 and the brightness but not too sure of the quality. My 1957 Tilley which I got from Mike has a special place in my heart that the Petromax can't quite get to....
Update: Parcel arrived today with pre-heaters which look decent enough. Not heard anything back from them, but I guess I don't need to now !
She's just called me and she's lovely. Her phone lines have been down for 2 weeks now, driving her nuts. So I guess if you have a query might be better to email her instead of phoning.
