Photo of my new table lamp. Time to fettle :content: 20190626_180427.jpg

Determined TL146 based on Jim Dick's book, the TL136 has glass shade, the TL146 has clear 182 globe

@KAB It looks like you have discovered a treasure trove.
I just love those pork pies. This will look so good when you have finished the fettle. Just waiting now for the money shot.
    Cheers

I went to collect an OL50 from the seller, not trusting the postal service with that one and he had some other lamps available and the OL looked all alone in the car for the journey home

A lonely lamp on a journey is not a good thing. They always travel better with mates ........ it’s a well known fact, true story. :D

A good number of travelling mates would be 38 in my opinion,

Yes, @Jean J that’s a good number. I’ll soon be doing a road trip through the rural areas of Eastern Australia on the way to Adelaide South Australia return, about 5000kms round trip. I’ll undoubtedly pick up a lamp on the way, so knowing that lamps like mates to travel with I’ll just have to get as many mates as I can find ....... it’s seems the right thing to do
