Full view showing manometer A bit difficult to get a good image of the stamping on the font due to reflection Close up of the pre-heater torch. This one has a needle valve rather then the more common toggle/over centre style. The wheels are made up, from a red Bakelite round knob, as there were none as found. Name and model number on frame. Top of hood. The preheater torch is operational but as with most torches is has a carburising rather than neutral or oxidising flame that leaves a carbon deposit at the top edge of the glass globe.
Found in Australia quite a few years ago, can't recall where from. It was in my "collecting phase". I am now in my restoration phase. Initially my objective was to simply make them operational now it's more about preservation. I also intend to try nickel plating.
