    The latest addition to my Tilley collection, an AL8 track lamp with the CH1 hood. It looks in fair condition. 20200220_144510.jpg 20200220_144516.jpg 20200220_144524.jpg 20200220_144532.jpg 20200220_144539.jpg

    Any thoughts on age? It has a pressure pip and the pump is internally threaded, male thread on tank

    Found time to drain the old fuel, wash the lamp, wipe over the hood, polish the reflector, oil the pump leather and refill with new fuel.
    Preheated and lit first time :)

    @KAB
    Hi can you tell me what holds the globe in place, also would you mind taking some photos of the underside of the hood, and a close up of it please, inside and out, as I'm trying to build one thanks. I have ordered the hood, but not sure about how the air buttons look as well, or which kind.

    At the back of the hood there are two pushed in slots (you can see one of then in the fourth pic down) which act as 'ledges' for the globe to sit on. At the front there's a knurled screw which forms the third point of suspension...
