    It didn't need much fettling, just a new mantle and a pump washer soak.
    Seems to run quite well apart from a drip from the pricker control. 20181216_154259(0).jpg 20181216_154259.jpg 20181216_154217.jpg 20181216_154140.jpg 20181216_154124.jpg 20181216_155734.jpg 20181216_155717.jpg

    @James K

    Looks good and the fount is in nice condition.

    I sealed my leaking pricker control with some rolled up "gas" ptfe tape.

    The 350 seems a bit more dependable than the so-called 'Superb' which is only superb at sitting on a shelf doing absolutely Sweet Fanny Adams... ](*,)

    Managed to fix the drip from the pricker control.
    Also found a better cage and hood.
    It's still running well on the butterfly mantle I originally fitted to test it with.
    I have also found a handle that needs cleaning up and fitting.
    I love the sound this lamp makes, very peaceful. 20191121_201100.jpg 20191121_201118.jpg

    I humbly beg to differ. Although I've read the horror stories, my Superb is the easiest lantern to light and sings happily all night if filled with kero. It doesn't hunt or pulse and basically 'just works'. After half a cup of meths the mantle starts to glow from whatever fuel is still in the system and all it needs is a couple of pumps and bingo - off she goes. Maybe it was a quality control issue in the factory where they were made but mine is an absolute gem.

    @Damien
    I have 2 Superbs and 1 350A and without exception they light easily and run flawlessly.
    In my experience and also of quite a few on this forum these are a good lantern and well worth having.
    Cheers
    Pete
