    Just pulled all my Vapalux and Bialaddin lanterns together for a line up. Nearly an example of each I think. I don't have a proper 305 but the M1C fills the gap. Would also like to find an M1b to add and I've no doubt there are others.:lol:

    That is a mighty fine line up, I think the Vapalux and Bialaddin lamps are my favourite lamps, maybe with the exception of a PL53!
    As your missing a 305 I’ll lend you one but it’s a bit rough, lol...:lol:

    Hmm, so apart from the chrome on mine, what’s the difference between my 300x and your 305? Is it just that the filler cap changed to the smaller diameter I wonder.:-k

    I actually have a problem in that all the lamps above live on one shelf which just happens to be long enough. So even if I find the lamps I don’t have, I’d need another shelf.:lol:

    I’m not sure with the 305, apart from the filler cap like you said there is little difference. They also did a chrome version of the 305 with the same 1” filler cap but sadly that alludes me.
    When you find a 305 you will have to extend that shelf..:D/

    I imagine you didn't want to show us your Handlamps, Do-nuts, T20s and Rothmans Specials in case we got too jealous. Very magnanimous of you, thanks! ;) :lol:

    I could put a very nice chrome 310 your way... ;) :-$

    Edit: - Oh! and a very nice M1B I got direct from Peter Sunderland when the Pellon Works in Halifax was closing down. He did open the box to check there was a lantern in there. I don't think I've ever had it out of the box to be honest - it's still sealed in the plastic bag...

    @Matthew92 . Very nice line up. My W&B line up is rather like my teeth, lots of gaps! I’ve a couple of NIB 320s that’ll get sold to fund the missing models. Well, that’s the plan....

    @Gary Waller

    If I find one to add, I’ll have to study them in detail, although I dare say if I look Ian Ashton will have done the work for me. As for extending the shelf, it’s been done once.:lol: It went along 2 walls of my bedroom, when I filled that I requested it went along the 3rd wall and also part of the 4th above the door. Needless to say it’s all full.](*,)

    @David Shouksmith

    The Rothmans is on the right hand end of that line up, but I do still need to find one with the older 2 piece style. Hand lamps, I’ve only the two and yet to get one example of the early type and donuts... well it’s just a matter of time.;)

    @BigStevie

    You’ve just reminded me I’ve got an unfired M320 which should of course be in the line up. It doesn’t fit on the shelf though so was forgotten.](*,)

    Ah, I see the Rothmans now - it looked black at first sight!

    How many two-piece hooded Rothmans do you want, Squire... :D

    Ooo ooo, now I’m excited. You can put the M1b to one side for me, tempting is a chrome 310 of course the one far left with the mint hood.:mrgreen: I’d settle for just one two piece hooded Rothmans if you’ve got one in mint condition.

    I’m starting to realise there’s a long way to go yet.:lol::lol:

    You also need two Vapalux 300s in brown enamel with brass and steel tanks - see here:-

    300

    ...and look at the two I've posted. I never did find the cream version Ian mentions in one of the threads, although I've got a mint, dark blue hood for one. I thought one day I might spray-up a tank to match but never did...

    @paparazi

    Now you’re showing off.:lol: Did you get that one off Ian at Newark one year, or was that someone else I’m thinking of?:-k

    @David Shouksmith

    I’ve got a few that I could paint up, I think I found 3 tanks while I was looking through my spares the other day. The other parts are spread throughout various boxes and I found another complete one too.:oops:

    Yes..that was me..but I think your collection is much bigger than mine. Whenever I think of buying a new lamp I seem to get a pain around the back of my head.....it's the wife as she gives me a good slapping.

    See, now that was the nub of my problem - I didn't have a wife to temper my enthusiasm for buying (at least not while I was collecting!)...
