Looks to me like it could be a 350, as per this thread here: 1970s Optimus 350. It’s a 350CP lantern.
Is it possible to see anything from the top line of the label? It is either an Optimus 350 or 550. Looking at the design of some of the parts, I would say it is from the early 1960s.
Well then the only way to tell is to look at the jet and cleaning needle. Otherwise there are no differences between the 350 and 550 models.
I'd say its more like a 350. I don't think its a model 300. The pricker wheel is more like that of a 350. With the Arabic inscription on the nameplate too.
Well that decides it. It is a model 550 and is a 500cp lamp. The top line of the label should read "550/500CP". The most likely date range is still the same at the early 60s.
Generally these tend to work well. There are a couple of areas that can give some challenges. On the maintenance side it is pretty straight forward for the type except the valve at the bottom of the feed tube has a pip that is a challenge to make. The only other challenge I find is the recess for the preheater cup is quite low, so they usually need at least two pre heats.
