That’s a fine line up!! A question: are all 3 using the same type of mantle? The 639 on the right seems to be a bit more yellowish compared the 237 and 639B.
Good question @Brenneman , I was hoping someone might ask so omitted from original post. The 237 and 639B are running Peerless Type III (Yttrium), and the 639 is running a Fargo mantle.
@Buckaroo I like those Fargo mantles for their toughness and ease in fitting. They are a bit yellowish in the light they emit, but great for a working lantern. I use them a lot. Cheers Tony
I own a 635 (converted to kero) and a 639 and they are powerful lanterns! In a powercut they'll be first on duty, followed by the Anchor 950's!
