Hello everyone, I started my second project for building a X246 Guardsman lamp. I am trying find separate parts to complete the lamp and so far I have the base and the cage. The base I have it has the number 1259XA at the bottom of the tank. I also trying to find the hood and the burner but I am confused if this lamp should have a brown or black hood? So far I've seen both versions but I am not sure which one is the correct. Any ideas?
If it's a gold tank, a brown top is correct, finding one in good condition may be difficult, if you're going to use the lamp fit a black one as these are easier to find..
