    Hi fellas, i have a variation to a wall lamp. Dated 1/61, it has a frame type arragement to hang or sit by. I have the type with screw in feet, and the hanger part goes through a slot in the rim. Ive seen a wall lamp with the hanger fixed inside the rim. Something to see bit different. Any ideas or info much to share. 20201013_131509.jpg 20201013_131519.jpg 20201013_131536.jpg 20201013_131605.jpg

    Not too common at all. I don't think I have seen more than a couple in the UK. I found mine in a field in Germany. WL25 and SL61 are not listed by Tilley in August 1961 so this variation is the last of the wall lamps. ::Neil::

    You keep turning them up.

    That looks to have suffered the same problem as some of the 246B's of the time (if over pumped the internal solder seam starts to tear leading to a bulging base)

    @Darryl Durdin

    If the centre of the base extends further than the rim, it is definitely a blown tank.
