This arrived earlier today but I'm having difficulty determining exactly which model it is. I cannot find another example in the gallery with the heat deflector disc over the gallery. It is also fitted with a 7" vapouriser, is that correct? This is a one off purchase for me as I prefer the industrial lamps, but Mrs R100 loves this.
It's a Tilley TL136 from about 1954 to 1959. They were supplied with a 606 vaporiser but I think they look better with the 7" 169. The heat deflector was never standard and is probably an aftermarket part. ::Neil::
Thank you Neil that has answered my question. I think I will seek out an opal globe for it as it is a tad hard on the eyes with the clear version. It is a genuine Tilley globe though.
Thanks. I only hope that Mrs R100 doesn't get the bug or the industrial lamp budget could take a hit!
Very nice indeed, who wouldn't want that table lamp in their collection, excellent find and works well. Congratulations.
