Tilley TL11 is how I got it and I have painted it and changed washers. The brilliant gold color I painted it got changed when I added the clear gloss coat but actually worked out well.

The rim of the fount bears the standard regd number.

The parts on it are interesting and provoke careful analysis.

    A grand old lamp!

The knobs on the pump and the control cock may be Kayen and the bug shields are not Tilley ones and the glass may not be a Tilley example and the support for the bottom bug shield is one which I do not recall seeing before.

Hum... Very nice! ... Really like the finish !

Would it be worth measuring or comparing the gallery against a Tilley one as well?

The part above where the shade would rest looks taller to my eye/screen picture? :-k

Certainly food for thought there?

I agree that the gallery looks a bit different.

I like the colour of that tank. Could I ask what paint you used?

Very nice indeed, it's also got a Kayen vaporizer as well, yes I also believe its a Kayen control cock valve too.
But who cares its amazing, I would change the vaporizer to a Tilley one as the Kayen ones are getting harder to find.

    @R100

Dulux Duramax Bright Finish spray cans - Bright Gold color

Problem was after spraying it, it looked a million dollars and just like real gold. However, after about 30 mins when it should have been touch dry I sprayed a cheap can (about equivalent of 1 pound UK) of clear gloss paint on top of it and the metallic paint dulled almost immediately almost mixing in front of me and turned into what it was. I thought, it looked OK too so left it at that.

Interesting lamp you’ve got there, Iain.

It looks to me like it’s Kayen from the handle up (Kayen: control cock, vapouriser; burner; gallery; top insect shield; glass, and most likely the bottom insect shield).

    Cheers

    Tony

It's just looks like an aftermarket to me, I have seen lots of Kayen and that doesn't look like one, besides its to thin, Im sure @Anthony would know?

    Thin doesn't help much.
I have a couple of decaled Nettlefold glasses that are amazingly thin.
    I think Tony does too.

This ones roundness makes me think aftermarket too.

Could you show the very bottom of the glass please Iain.

No markings, but this is an old teardrop glass that I think is Kayen.

Also when I said it was how I got it I meant the fittings, eg gallery, vapouriser and control cock. It did not come with a globe and I got one out of storage which I'm guessing was from Juliands in UK. I don't think I had any old ones lying around at that stage. Hope this helps. There are no markings on the globe that I can see.

:) That is exactly what I was expecting to see Iain.
Looks like a reproduction of the globes that were on the X410,X458,X460.

A good one to keep track of for when you need to fit out a flounder lamp.

PS There are variations of the GF TL10.

    Thanks for clarifying the glass.
