Hi all! My recent fettling projects is this variation of the Optimus 100N. It lacks the original glass so it has a Radius one (originating from our esteemed fellow member @Bo Ryman). I am wondering if this one has the correct filler cap or if it is one from a stove? What period is it from? - The 1950's I guess. Regards Matti
Nice project Matti. Good luck with the fettling. The filler cap is from a Primus. The correct type is the same as was fitted to the 930. The glass is the same size as most of the 150cp lanterns, so it is possible to get replacements with no logos at a fair price. The 100N was made from the late 1940s to the mid 1950s. I have one the same that is missing the complete top, so if you ever find the parts I would be interested to hear from you.
OK, then I'll just find a 930 filler cap. Thanks Nils! Moderator may move this to fettling section. Regards Matti
I think it's fine where it is! The reference section is where we want the lanterns with many images to be.
@JEFF JOHNSON Yes It's a really small one. Someone that can direct me to a parts list/spreadsheet if the 100N? I want to check what parts I already have that fits it.
I am wondering. Does the cleaning needle on the right fit the 100N? Its from fogas.se art nr 2680-1. Regards Matti
It will screw into the cleaning rod, but I believe the needle is too large a diameter. I havn't checked myself.
