Here is my example of the TL106 pork pie, fresh from the UK via the Fed-Ex truck. Luckily it was packaged securely inside a plastic bag as the whole of the inside was saturated with paraffin. The thin pork pie pump looks neat, but loosening it a few times showed me pretty quick why they went with the thicker one. The paint doesn’t appear too bad given it’s age and it has a working pressure indicator. Standard rock hard pips and the control cock nut had a string gasket material. A few seals from the Fettle Box fixed it right up. First time I’ve seen a small nut holding the burner to the gallery. I tied on a mantle and she lights right up even with a crusty vaporizer and fuel that was left in the tank. Thank you, John
It will clean up nicely. Congratulations! There are other examples posted with the nuts to secure the burner to the gallery. So, appears to be original.
