Found at a car boot sale yesterday for a very small sum of money, the bargains do come up from time to time.
I've given it a clean and service and treated it to a decent pump and control valve, filled with fuel , fitted a mantle and lit her up, it's even got the original vapouriser fitted.
I will probably have to paint the frame to keep the rust at bay but generally it's fairly tidy for its age.
    A few more photos below.

    Lovely!
A light wire-wooling and some satin lacquer and you'll be surprised how much of the original paint will appear from the base frame.

I think I have to introduce car boots sales overhere too....
Seems to be a specific kind of flea market.

Nice find and a good lamp.

Yes Wimve, your correct, a kind of flea market where people arrive with a car full of stuff they want to get rid of, pay a small pitch fee and hope to make a bit of money. Over the years I've found quite a few lamps and spare parts, quite recently I found a bialaddin 300x in chrome that had probably been in someones shed for a very long time, it cleaned up superbly, I will have to put it in the gallery .
    Regards Ian.
